Turks & Caicos: A Caribbean Paradise

One of the most beautiful, idyllic vacations we’ve ever had was in Turks and Caicos. We stayed at The Palms Resort on Providenciales, and it exceeded every expectation. The resort was everything we wanted — luxurious, relaxing, and right on the spectacular Grace Bay, which consistently ranks among the most beautiful beaches in the world on various travel awards lists .

We started our first morning with an early sunrise on Long Beach Bay, where the golden skies and calm waters set the perfect tone for the day. The peaceful morning was a great way to recharge before heading out for our adventures. It was worth the early morning drive to see the sunrise!

Taylor Bay was one of the most serene spots we visited. The beach was quiet, with clear, shallow waters perfect for wading. We also spent a lot of time at Sopadilla Bay, where we dipped our toes in the cool water and enjoyed the tranquility of the surroundings.

For something a little more exciting, we went snorkeling in Grace Bay, where the coral reefs were teeming with marine life. The underwater beauty of Turks and Caicos never gets old — each snorkel trip was a new discovery. We also tried glass-bottom kayaking in the mangroves, a fun way to explore the eco-rich areas while getting a peek at the world beneath the surface.

Of course, we couldn’t leave without a little golf! We spent a day at the golf club, enjoying a round while taking in the gorgeous tropical views. When it was time to eat, we indulged at Coco Bistro, a must-visit restaurant that offered both great food and an unforgettable atmosphere.

After meals, we strolled around the marina, exploring the quaint shops and enjoying the waterfront vibes. But we didn’t spend all our time out and about. We also spent plenty of time by the pool and on the beach — lounging, reading, and taking it easy.

One of the highlights of the trip was definitely lunch at the swim-up bar. There’s something about having a delicious meal and drinks in hand while lounging in the pool that just screams vacation.

On one of our last days, we ventured out to Las Brisas and the Lagoon, a serene spot with stunning views. It was the perfect way to wind down after an action-packed week.

Overall, our trip to Turks and Caicos was absolutely amazing. We fell in love with the island’s beauty, and it’s hands down one of the best vacations we’ve ever had. The locals in Turks & Caicos are known as ‘belongers,’ a term that reflects their deep connection to the islands. After experiencing the beauty and warmth of this place, you’ll understand why you’ll want to belong too. If you’re considering a tropical getaway, I can’t recommend it enough!
